In this unique workshop, we will dive deep into the intricate layers of bachata musicality, using one specific song as our guide.

The goal? To move in perfect harmony with every beat, accent, and instrument. This isn’t just choreography – it’s about truly becoming one with the music, understanding its nuances, and expressing every note through your body. 

We will break down the song section by section, identifying the key instruments like the guitar, bongo, and güira, and crafting movements that mirror their energy. By the end of the class, you’ll have a choreographed piece that not only looks beautiful but feels deeply connected to the song’s essence.

Level: Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate dancers with some experience in bachata.

This class is for dancers who want to challenge themselves to go beyond steps and patterns and reach a deeper connection with the music. Come ready to listen, feel, and dance your way into the heart of bachata!

In this interactive workshop we’ll explore different types of movement, styling and decoration, so you can make the bachata basic your own! The workshop will include drills and exercises to help you unlock your own style, flavour and let your personality shine in your dancing. 

This is an open level class, but basic knowledge of bachata fundamentals and weight transfer is recommended. Open to leads and follows.

This two hour workshop will focus on building your salsa vocabulary for shines and partner work. You'll learn the fundamentals and discover how to craft your own patterns. Then we'll tap into playful energies and explore different ways to flow. Come and experience the guac energy, find your flavour, and express yourself!
